The weekend went really well for me. I woke up super excited on the Saturday morning and had breakfast, then played with my cat Maszie and my kittens Mogoly, Mercedes and Muthusa. Gradually my parents woke up and came out into the living room were I was. My dad then asked me to come do a job, we had to take down the curtain in my room so that my dad could paint it. The window was very hard to hold as I had to hold it in the perfect angle so that the bolts wouldn't bend and I had to balance on the tiny window sill. The curtain felt really heavy when I was holding it up but when we moved it into the lounge it was actually quite light. I then got some paint, a steel brush and a flat head screwdriver. I trotted outside to were my abandoned tea table lay. I was really excited about what was going to happen next I grabbed my steel brush and got to work scrubbing I was to tell you the truth afterwards I was exhausted. I then got the screwdriver and popped the lid off the small paint can the smell quickly filled my nose I couldn't help but to wrinkle my nose to the horrible smell. It stunk like rotten eggs, raw fish and a way to heavy old ladys perfume. I then grabbed a tent peg and began to stir the horrible white sludge known to many as paint. I dipped my paintbrush in and was annoyed to find that I hadn't stirred the paint nearly enough I quickly put the tent peg and stirred I stirred the paint so hard some of the mix nearly fell out. I then put my brush back in and was relieved to find that the paint had thinned out I put some of the mixture onto the table, I had to make sure I got right into the groves of the table it annoyed me so much it took just about 5 minutes to just do the top quarter of the table at the same time I was a bit upset the paint was dripping. I attempted to scoop the drips off the table, I succeeded! I was proud of my accomplishment. I then quickly started at the bottom off the table and worked my way up. 45 minutes later I had done the table I ran into the house super cherry I ran to my room were my dad stood my room was just about done I was so so so happy all the pin holes had been filled in and there was only half a wall left to paint.
