Reviewing a Movie- Morning Blogpost

Avatar (The Movie)

In 2009 a amazing movie was made by James Cameron, James Cameron decided to name the movie "Avatar".

Main actor, Sam Worthington plays the roll of Jake Sully, a disabled former marine who decided to join the Avatar program. Avatar is about a epic journey, a reluctant hero. Jake Sully is sent away to go into war with avatars he will soon find where he really does belong.

Avatar is a movie that I think all people would enjoy especially fantasy lovers, although IMD rates Avatar a 7.9 out of 10 I would overall I would rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and this movie is defiantly a movie that you should watch in 3D. I would happily watch this movie again as it is defiantly a all time favourite!

Dystopia- Morning Blopost

As we cued up in line, I could taste the thick bitter smoke, I inhaled it through my lungs,
"When will it be over?" I heard my little brother ask
"Soon- Sammy... Soon," he replied in a surprisingly soft voice. I could hear my mother coughing, it was the fumes that were starting to get to her. Our old VW slowly crawled along the road, creaking and moaning as it went. My mother had stopped coughing now, and was trying to cheer my little brother Sam up,
"I spy in my little eye something that starts with, "G" she said in a warm voice, there was a long moment of silence,
"GRASS!" he shouted, my mum smiled they kept playing this game for a little while mean while I focused on the large pipes sticking out of the ground pumping out large thick clumps of smoke. The elderly man in the car next to us was beginning to cough I heard that croaky, hoarse cough that old people get, I saw him pick up his water bottle, the water in his bottle wasn't the normal "Crystal Clear" so called water that we used to have it had large clumps of dirt in it, this reminded me there was no clean water left in our small town. The large Volvo truck in front of us was letting out a real racket so loud, it could have been mistaken for a rocket taking off.
"BANG!!!" A massive bomb went off from behind me the alarms immediately sounded, the man in the car behind ours had such a large fright he banged his head into the steering wheel I could now see him clutching his bleeding head his wife leaning over looking with concern. Some of the cars that were near the explosion were now on fire a large bright fire I knew that it was just going to be seconds away till the fire found the petrol, there it was the fire had found it another explosion, more pollution, another unneeded death. I could feel another explosion even further away from us but still another explosion.

Similes- Morning Blogpost

  • As annoying as my little brother begging for food.
  • As peaceful as birds gracefully flying through the sky.
  • As lucky as a man who has just won the lottery.
  • As hot as the black bonnet of a old Buick Grand National in the middle of summer.
  • A industrious as a nurse working in a black plague.
  • As clueless as a cat chasing a moth dancing through the air.
  • As brilliant as the "SUN" appearing in the middle of winter.
  • As colorful as a meadow in the of spring.
  • As energetic as a toddler on christmas day.

Dialog- Morning Blogpost

Dialog 1
(Discussion Between myself and Miss Campbell about how I am doing in class behavioral wise.)

"Hey, Matthew can you come here for a second," called Miss Campbell
"Sure, Whats it about?" I asked innocently
" I am currently writing your report...." she began in her usual voice
OH O I thought to myself
"And I need to write about your behavior this year," she continued
Oh no this was worse than I thought.
"What do you think I should write?" She asked
"Well.... I am almost always on task... but can be a bit off task at times," I started
"MMM-hmmm. I see, I see," She said quietly to herself.
"Do you think it would be fair if I said that you were very reliable and trustworthy," Miss Campbell asked.

"But you're not one of them" Replied the young woman's mother.
" Why do you have to be so mean, all I asked for was more pocket money, after all you only give me $5 dollars a month!"
" You should be thankful you get anything when I was your age I got nothing at all! Now go to your room or you wont get any pocket money at all!"

Waimarino Poem- Morining BlogPost

Waimarino,
Getting Wet,
Then Getting Blobbed,
Being splashed came next,
After we settled for lunch,
Subsequently became more drenched,
Settled in the spa,
Following diving-boards,
Waimarino.
