On the fence
An undecided person, you are on the fence is like theres too much option or you dont know what your doing. Another way to say you are on the edge is you are confused or you have to much option, therefore putting you in a awkward position and/or not knowing what to do next.
If someone is having a car problem and it's going to cost the same amount to get it repaired as it would to go buy a second hand car, a person might say "Your on the fence there".
