How I wake up
In the morning at 6.30 on the dot wake up to the screeching alarm blearing at you to wake up, then slowly hobble out of bed and slide into the steaming hot shower then hop out a grab the bright orange towel and dry yourself off. Now that you're refreshed walk briskly down the hall into the bedroom and grab your clothes, then hunt down my socks (which is a very hard task sometimes) and slide them onto your cold feet then grab the leather school shoes. Then walk down the hall way saying good morning to my mum and dad and walk into the living room. Then greet my cat and kittens with a very warm hug and say morning to them one by one. Then go into the lounge to unplug your laptop from its green light charger and slide it into it snuggly warm case, then put it in the back of your bag then grab your lunch box from the chilly fridge at put it neatly into your bag. Then go into the cupboard and grab to slices of burgeen bread, grab out the toaster from its warm little home located under the bench in the corner of the room. Plug it in nicely and and chuck in the toast pull the switch down while the bread turns into toast. Grab the butter out of the fridge and a random spread of any choice butter you toast and chove it down. Then rush out the door by now it's 7.55am and dont forget to grab your bus pass, wait at the stop until the 1987 bus screaches to a holt jump on in and wait for the rickety old jalopy to get to school then walk silently across the field and walk directly to room 42. Once your there your ready for school walk on in and grab your stuff.

HomeworkChallenge- Spending a night out in the bush
Spending a night out in the bush
When:
On April the 3rd to the 4th my Dad, my Uncle Nigel, my Cousin Ethan and I spent a night out in the Kamai's bush near the State Highway 29.
Equipment:
We took with us two air rifles, two slingshots, one compound bow along with six arrows, 2 Tents and the other average camping gear.
The Plan:
The reason we brought the weapons with us was because my cousin and uncle both live in Hong Kong, China(my cousin has grown up mostly in China). My dad and my uncle Nigel spent lots of time camping when they were boys (11 to 19 years of age) and they wanted to share their growing up experiences with me and my cousin.
We were planning on going possum and rabbit hunting. Unfortunately we ended up not being able to because the weather was miserable with us being out the weekend the drought over the North Island showed signs of breaking! So instead we aimed at some targets. One of the target's was a giant polystyrene board which we stuck lots of balloons to.
The Camp site.
The site we chose was a short walk from the car on the edge of farm land. It backed onto native bush and offered us some shelter from the rain, until the trees got soaked and started dropping massive drops of water into our chicken resoto we were cooking for tea.
We had two tents, one blue with the other red and cream. In the blue tent Ethan and I had set up we had 2 sleeping bags a green and a purple one, our luggage which consisted mainly of tog's, towels, warm clothes, Pajamas, Extra blankets and some spare clothing we also had a bag with marbles, slingshots, whistles and a few other nick nacks. While in my Dad and my Uncle's tents their was the guns, a humongous chili bin with all our food (eggs, bacon etc), the rest there sleeping bags and their luggage/ clothing.
As Gurito silently walked over to the nearby tent with a huge stack of bananas in his arm that he had collected from the nearby trees a strange smell started to fill the air. It was a terrible smell it reached like mixtures of 1year old rotten fish and over expired egg. The smell started getting stronger and stronger it was coming from Gurito's tent! Gurito started to pick up his pase as he walked over with great momentum. Just as Gurito was 5 meters from the hut a loud horrifying screaming sound filled it sounded like a dying whale or a consipated cow again the horrific cry filled the hut "urgghhh urggh". Gurito was petrified but at the same time desperate to see what the chaos was all about. Gurito was 2 meters from the hut when a large hunormus leathery skinned head poked out, Gurito leaped back knocking over two pales on the way. Terror struck Gurito then stood dead still staring at the strange animal. He then realized what the strange animal was it was a hippopotamus. Gurito instantly chucked 6 large green bannanas on the ground right next to the hippo, Although Gurito knew he could not out run the substantially sized animal he stood hoping that it would give him time to run or at least hide. The hippo flicked the bananas aways with it huge foot. Again Gurito threw another 6 bananas and again the hippo was getting aggravated Gurito could tell he screamed at the huge swamp beast "back back back" Guritos commands did nothing to the hippo just aggravating the large animal even more. Then a strange thing happened the hippo looked down at the ground and grabbed a pile of banana chomping away at the mushy green fruit. Gurito automatically knew it was his time to run he bolted away sprinting at a unbelievable speed when Gurito was at least 500 meters away he turned around to see the hippo still muching away at the ripe green bananas when Gurito was back to his local camp were everyone else was he ran to his best friend Alfrido spilling his amazing news of what had just happened, Alfirdo was horror struck asking questions about Guritos amazing escape asking how big the hippo was and how old was it Gurito answered the questions beaming proudly about his lucky escape but was also petrified while thinking what could have happened to him.

Yesterday morning on 27th of May, room 43 moved in next door. The reason room 43 moved in next door is because of a devastating incident, there was a fire in their class. The fire is believed to have begun after a electrical fault. The room 43 kids are really nice they showed us around there awesome classes. Each kid has a pair who he or she shares there working space with, there are 2 in each mini room. They also have a normal classroom were they learn together. I found that the room 43 kids had excellent personalities and loved sharing there work they were really nice. It is a bit disappointing losing our lunch area but its for a good cause after all and I enjoy talking to them too.

What I did in the Weekend
In the weekend I played with my 3 kittens Mogoly, Ferro (short for Ferrai), Merce (short for Mercedes) and my cat Maszie (short for Maserati). Unfortunately plenty of times I had to clean up there many pools of pee (this was not fun). You will find it hard to believe but one of the kittens was able to reach one end of the room to the other in just about 3 seconds! To tell you the truth the kittens were and are very playful and are actually very strong. Unfortunately two of the kittens (Mogoly and Ferro) were fighting on the arm of the couch. Since Ferro is a lot bigger he just managed to push Mogoly of the couch and go plummeting into a small pool of pee made earlier by Ferro, Mogoly was drenched and so I had to go clean him up in the sink.

Teenage Problems- Pregnancy
It is approximate that 1 million teenagers between the ages 15 and 19 will become parents to a young child. This is a reoccurring problem in older teenagers. Roughly about 80% of teenage fathers do not marry the mother, they also contribute very little on raising a child of a teen mum, some teen dads are known to pay less then $800 dollars a year, when it roughly costs $10,000 dollars for the first year alone.

What I have Learned About The Periodic Table
I have learned so much about about the periodic table, as this is the first time I have ever done any work on the topic. I learn't about how the periodic table is divided into separate sections and that the metals are on the left. I also learnt what the periodic table is as before I had absolutely no idea, the periodic table is a list of elements basically. I learnt that each element has a short name eg. Hydrogen is (H) and Helium is (He). I also learnt that Dmitri Mendeleev was the person who discovered the periodic table Dmitri Mendeleev was also Russian.

Scientific Discovery- Flush Toliet
The Flush Toilet is commonly used by many humans. The toilet is very important for the human species and population. It was not one nor two people that invented the flush toilet but three Joseph Bramah, John Harington and Al Jazari. The toilet was successfully invented in the late 1700's. The toilet was invented much before but the late1700's was when the flush toilet was created. The toilet is currently used very often today and thanks to the helpful inventors we are able to successfully flush.

Famous Scientist
Henry James Ford
Henry Ford was the original creator of ford. He also created the first production vehicle, The Ford model T. There were many car created before this but the Model T was the first production vehicle. Henry Ford had a famous quote for his model T " You can have any color as long as it's black". Therefore you could only get the Ford Model T in black. Henry Ford was born on the 30th of July, 1863 he lived a long 83 years which in my opinion is a long time for back in the 1800's. Sadly Henry Died April 7th 1947. Als most of the items on the Ford Model T were hand made.

Science Expierement
When I was about 7 I made a worm catcher. It consisted of just one paper towel and four small stones. It was a very simple project as all you had to do was put the paper towel on a dirt surface then place the four small stones in each corner. I then waited 2 days for the worms to show up, then I went outside and picked up the paper underneath was a small group of worms. The reason the worms came up was because of the paper towel covered the dirt and made the dirt nice and cold for the worms, the worms then come up to the top of the soil and rest.

Blog Post- Ngamuwahine Camp
Ngamuwahine Camp Blog Post
I showed up two days late for camp because I was on holiday. But the next three days were a blast, I was in group 7. The first activity my group (group 7) did was Mountain Biking this activity was one of my personal favourite's as I love biking especially Mountain Biking, in Mountain biking we got to ride across a river, I did this 4 times I was also the tailing Charlie which means I had to bike behind every one else to make sure that know one go hurt.
I am proud that
One of the other awesome activity's to me was paintball there were to groups in this case there was group 7 & 8 the groups were split into three I was in team two my team got o play 3 times the first time (which was my favourite round) my team versed was team 1 my team lost but I did do some pretty courageous moves as I battled my dad who sometimes trains with guns I came out from that battle with some pretty wicked bruises a especially bad blood wound and bruise on my leg with another large one on my back side I have many more scattered around my body too. The second battle I got in was when I had just surrendered because my gun was playing up and was walking back in when I saw one of the opposing team hiding behind a tree I immediately let the bullets ran down on them and after 5 seconds of having bullets ran down on them they quickly decided to surrender.
The Most rewarding Part of camp
Was definitely shooting my dad in paintball because he is very good at using fire arms and I nearly bet him and was doing the beam twice.
Believe it or not
But I actually did the rabbit run twice as my dad only got one shot at me because his gun ran out of bullets. So as a nice person I decided to do it a second time I must say I deeply regretted this after.
It made me laugh
It made me laugh when I was going through the river on the mountain bike and I decided to go slow and my front tire got stuck in a rock and the bike and I plummeted in the water.
The biggest challenge
The biggest challenge for me was the beam as I am petrified of hight's and jumping of them is normally out of the question and I prefer not to have a person bringing me down as more bad things can happen when your doing that. I prefer to have a machine type thing bring me down. In the end I ended up doing this activity twice which made me really proud.
The Tastiest
The tastiest food at camp for me was probably waking up from a short but long for camp sleep in a eating two pieces of toast with scrabbled eggs.
