News- Car Plunges off Wharf

A car in Auckland has driven off a wharf into a river. The river was 3 meters deep and police are going to look for the vehicle today. Sadly the model of the vehicle is unnamed. The police will be searching for the vehicle today in hopes of finding the car. The car went off Kings Road landing straight into the river.

What do I think? I think the car should be easy to find but the hard part will be actually taking the car out.

News- Boston Bombing

Two bombs have gone off in Boston in a running marathon  Three people were deemed dead and over 130+ have been injured in the bomb some people's legs and arms were amputated. The police have 1 suspect but it has not yet been released who the suspect is. Police think it will be easy to find the coulperate as every bomb has the makers signature. Police are also heavily guarding President Obama's home and family as they are afraid that the bomber coud go after the president. There were two bombing the first bomb was smaller as the bomber was a attempting to lead the people to the 2nd bomb this luckily did not work as every one ran to help the victims of the first bomb.

What do I think.... I think the bomber was stupid as he or she will be found and the police say that it will take one week to put the bomb back together which will hopefully show them the signature of the bomber.

News - Tauranga Intermediate school fire

Yesterday at Tauranga Intermediate School a fire roughly started around 5:15pm. The Tauranga Fire Department have looked into the case and believe that it was a electrical fault with the air conditioning system. The two classrooms have suffered smoke damage but it is un-said how much the smoke has damaged the room. I personally am thankful that the fire did not damage any other classrooms and that the class is still standing.

HomeworkChallenge- Egg Challege

For homework I decided to do the egg challenge. In this challenge you have to look after a egg for a week, I had to bring the egg to school every day for 1 whole week. I successfully completed this challenge as the egg did not crack all week.

This is what shelly looked like 

Some of the things I had to do for the project were....

1.  Making sure the egg is crack free for 1 whole week.

2.  To bring the egg to school from Monday to Friday.

3.  To make a mini house for the egg.

4.  Decorate your egg eg. draw a face on the egg.

5.  Name your egg eg. the name for my egg was shelly.

 Shelly's house consisted of  a small container , 2 handkerchiefs folded snuggly into the container and a soft blue cloth, the reason I put the handkerchief in was because it created a cushion like effect this was the same for the soft cloth. On the container I had written in vivid "Shelly's Home". My eggs name is/was shelly she was a brown egg.

Homework Expectations

Amount We think that 30-45 minutes every weeknight is a reasonable expectation for homework. Per week that equals approximately 2.5 hours per week of homework. 2 terms = 20 weeks. Every homework task should take you 5 hours to do. Quality You need to work on each homework task for at least 2.5 to 5 hours. It should like it was done by a year 8 student. The product you make (if relevant) should look good quality. News- Horse meat surved in hospitals

A international food catering company have been reported to of sold horse meat to schools in Britain, this is expected to come into New Zealand hospitals. Health minister Tony Ryall has said it's still very early days for the proposal but if the proposal is confirmed it is estimated hospital food services contracted out to a private company, costing more than 1000 jobs. I personally think that this would be a very good idea because extra meat and it would be cheaper for New Zealand hospitals. Resource: Horse meat in hospitals

News- Human Body found in aircraft

A human body was found in the landing gear space in a plane by security. The air transport company Carmo-co has said that the man looked like he was in his 30's. Carmo-co has also said that the believe the passenger had sneaked on hoping to get off at the next stop in Paris' Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport on Monday. Each year thousands of africains attempt the do-or-die voyages to Europe, a symbol of hope in a poverty-stricken region. The is airline is currently investigating how the man has died and what has happened. I think that the airline needs to pick up on this in future and watch their security system better I think they have done very poorly to let this happen.

News- Cat Lodged In Metal Pole

A female Christchurch cat has been injured after a metal rod of a fence stabbed 20cm through the cat. There is currently a ongoing search as people are currently looking for the owner/s. The SPCA believe event accrued after the cat jumped off the roof and landed brutally on the fence. My personal opinion I believe owner or owners of this cat should be very easy to find I reckon since female cats dont like to venture very far from there houses, so the owners should roughly according to my standards be living 2 too 3 houses away.
